HALE COUNTY AREA BUSINESSES.....This year we will no longer be doing business with LEP (Law
Enforcement Publications) Company for our department calendars. Our new calendar company is
Hometown Publishing. In the past LEP obtained sponsorship ads from local businesses by
telephone solicitation. Our new calendar company WILL NOT be doing telephone solicitations.
Hometown Publishing will send a representative, accompanied by a Hale County Deputy to each
business to conduct business face to face. Due to the rising threat of fraud with phony telephone
solicitors, we felt the community would feel more at ease with an actual person asking for your
business. If you have any questions, please give us a call. Thank you for your continuing support of
your Sheriff's Office.
